Hi, I’m Isa.
I was born and raised in Mexico City before moving to Montreal, which is the place I now call home. Growing up with an art historian parent and painters in the family, creativity has always been part of my life.
I approach wedding photography as a documentary art form, capturing your day in all of its forms: the genuine, the silly, and carefree moments that become lasting, meaningful parts of your story.
With a background in communication studies and a love of the outdoors, my work seeks to explore the quiet yet profound moments of connection between people, places, and tradition.
When I'm not photographing weddings, you can find me training with my local dragon boat team, diving into some historical fiction, or perhaps getting lost on a trail somewhere in Quebec.
I call both Mexico and Montreal home - two places that have shaped my vision and passion of documenting stories.
- I used to work in a production agency as a video editor and photographer before discovering that I especially love capturing love stories.
It immediately felt more meaningful and equally creative.
- Self care for me means diving into a Sally Rooney novel.
- When it comes to music, the funkier stuff makes me happy.
